Complement your look this season with the perfect garment designed to help you show off and channel your inner dancehall queen and in the process support the Not Asking For It cause. Named after the main character in the 1997 classic, independent Jamaican film – Dancehall Queen, these pieces are a play on the wrong assumption that society has on the lifestyle surrounding women in the dancehall culture.
About Not Asking For It –
The Not Asking For It campaign aims to transform the way society treats and views victims of abuse and seeks to be the catalyst for the many voices around the world who want to speak out against the many forms of abuse against women. Created by London-based photographer Fiona Compton to address the global epidemic of rape culture and the frequent shaming and blaming of women for their own assaults, the campaign uses a variety of media, including videos, music, fashion and photo diaries to feature the stories of women.
